House Hub is dedicated to helping Sellers and Landlords find the best real estate agent to sell or manage their property.

We provide an independent and unbiased website that specializes in helping Sellers and Landlords find the best agent. We offer a discrete listing service that allows Sellers and Landlords to list their property for free and then receive, view and filter enquires and offers from interested registered real estate agents that want to help to sell or manage the property.

  1. A Seller or Landlord lists their property for free on HouseHub.com.au. The Seller or Landlord can add a little or lot of details. They can also include a message to the agents. An example of a Sellers message might be: 'I'm looking to sell my house, I would like to get $550,000, if you think you can sell it or know of a potential buyer, please contact me so we can talk in more detail. I am also interested to know your fees and charges'
  2. During the listing process the Seller or Landlord can set a limit for the maximum amount of enquires/messages they want to receive. (the limit can be increased or decreased at your leisure)
  3. Agents with a valid House Hub account can view listed properties and read their details.
  4. Agents can contact Sellers and Landlords via the in-built messaging system on the House Hub website.
  5. Sellers and Landlords can view and read Agent messages and choose to reply or decline the enquiry.
  6. Sellers and Landlords can reply to Agents of their choice and can talk 'initial business' via the House Hub messaging system. If things look promising the Seller (or Landlord) and the Agent can take things to the next level and talk via phone or meet face to face at a time and place that suits them.
  7. If the relationship looks promising, the Seller (or Landlord) can choose to give the Agent their listing. This is done via a Listing agreement (or property management agreement). The source/provider of the agreement will be the Agent, this is industry standard. We 'House Hub' do not get involved with the sales, negotiation or legal process in any way, it is totally between the Seller (or Landlord) and the agent.
  8. Once the Seller (or Landlord) have chosen their agent they can log into their House Hub account and click the ACCEPTED button on that particular agent. This lets all other agents know that the Seller or Landlord has chosen an Agent and that the property is no longer open to agent enquiries/offers. The property is then automatically removed for the search section and becomes unsearchable on the entire House Hub website.
  9. Job done, the Seller or Landlord have found their preferred agent.

We don't get in the way and we don't restrict or limit your options.
No, we are not a typical 'Agent Review' website where you need to spend time scrolling through endless agent reviews. And then when you finally find an agent you like you still need to contact them to see if they're interested in helping to sell your house. We are different, in a better way. We allow you to submit your property and then sit back and let interested agents come to you via the in-built messaging system. Your property listing is discrete and not viewable by the general public or other sellers on the HouseHub system. Only registered agents can see your property and contact you. You can control how many agents can contact you and you can choose which agent you reply to... or none at all.

When a Seller 'Accepts' an agent, the accepted agent receives a notification saying that they have been accepted. At the same time, all other agents that are currently communicating with the Seller will receive a notification saying that they have been unsuccessful and that the Seller has chosen another agent. The unsuccessful agents are not made aware or notified of the name or details of the Accepted agent.

When a Seller 'Declines' an agent, the individual declined agent receives a notification saying that they been declined and are unsuccessful in winning this listing. All other agents that are currently communicating with the Seller are unaffected or aware of the decline.

Please note that Accepting or Declining an agent on the House Hub website is purely a notification service only, it is not a legally binding agreement or a listing contract between the Seller and the Agent. The Seller reserves the right to undo or alter their decision relating to an agent that they have 'Accepted' or 'Declined'.

If the Seller and Agent choose to enter into a formal Listing Agreement/Contract then that is done separately between the Seller and the Agent, at their own discretion. House Hub does not provide, and does not get involved in any way, in any Listing Agreement/Contract between the Seller and the Agent.

No, we are totally independent and do not get involved with the sales process or any negotiations, legal matters or agreements between you and agents (or potential buyers or tenants).
